William Haggerty
Founder + Principal
William Haggerty has spent a decade keeping healthcare infrastructure running in places where failure costs lives. He has implemented or supported humanitarian and development programs in Guatemala, Haiti, Lesotho, Liberia, Madagascar, Malawi, Mexico, Peru, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, and South Sudan. He began his humanitarian career in Liberia in 2015 with Partners In Health during the Ebola outbreak, then worked as a logistician and hospital infrastructure manager with MSF/Doctors Without Borders, including in Haiti at the onset of COVID-19. Returning to PIH as the infrastructure technical lead for the Unitaid-funded BRINGO2 medical oxygen program, he led oxygen system implementation and support across five countries.
William founded Ainslie Street Advisory in 2025 as an independent, fee-for-service advisory firm focused on healthcare infrastructure reliability in limited-resource contexts. ASA works with NGOs, implementing partners, development contractors, and Ministries of Health on a project and retainer basis.
William is based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA, and when he's not in the field, he's hiking, sailing, or experimenting in the kitchen.
Ainslie Street Advisory maintains a small network of subject matter experts in key technical domains, including potable water supply and low-voltage electrical systems. These experts can be engaged on a per-project basis to support clients when additional depth or specialized expertise is required.
